The 2017 Toyota RAV4‘s new Bird’s Eye View Camera is extremely helpful for drivers that have trouble with parking in tight spaces or parallel parking. The Bird’s Eye View Camera with Perimeter Scan allows drivers to have a 360-degree view of their surroundings, so that they can navigate turns more safely.

Here’s a list of step by step instructions on how to use the 2017 Toyota RAV4‘s Bird’s Eye View Camera with Perimeter Scan:

 – Start your RAV4

 – Leave the car in park and turn on Park Assist.

 – Press the Bird’s Eye View button located just above the display. This results display shows a 360-degree moving view of your vehicle and the immediate surroundings so you can avoid an accident.

 – From here you can select Pause/Play.

If you shift into reverse with the Bird’s Eye View Camera on, the display will display the backup camera display on one side and the overview camera display on the other side of the screen. This way you know what’s ahead of you and what’s behind you. Once you shift into drive and press the Bird’s Eye View button, the front view will become a wide display as well as showing the overhead view. You can also have the screen show the vehicle’s side views as well.
