Thinking of Buying a New Toyota? Why Leasing May Be the Better Choice

You have a lot of decisions to make when the time comes for a new set of wheels. You need to decide which type of vehicle is best for you, how much to spend and which features are most important. You want to look at reliability ratings, test crash results and long term resale values.

You also want to get the most for your money no matter what type of vehicle you ultimately decide is right for you. And last but not least, you need to decide whether to buy your next vehicle or lease it instead.

If you have compiled a list of potential Toyota vehicles for your next vehicle, there are some compelling reasons to consider a lease instead of buying the car, truck or SUV outright. Here are some of the many advantages of leasing versus buying your next Toyota.

Leasing is the natural choice for drivers who need the value and reliability of a brand new vehicle. If you love to drive the latest and greatest vehicles in the Toyota lineup, leasing allows you to trade up whenever you want and always drive the newest and most technologically sophisticated vehicle on the market.

If you normally buy your Toyota vehicles, you may want to consider leasing if you typically drive less than 12,000 to 15,000 miles per year. Low mileage leases are great for reducing the overall cost of ownership and Toyota offers a number of such leases to put you in the car, truck or SUV you have always wanted.

Leasing is less efficient for buyers who put a lot of miles on their vehicles or tend to keep their cars for many years, but even those buyers may want to check out the relative value of leasing compared to buying. Royal Palm Toyota has a number of resources you can use to make this important decision and get you in your new car.

If you own a business or plan to use your new Toyota car, truck or SUV for business purposes, it also makes sense to consider leasing instead of buying. When you lease your next Toyota, you may be able to write off much of the cost when you complete your next income tax return. If you choose to buy, the amount you get to write off can be a bit more limited. You should, of course, always consult a tax expert before making the final decision or writing off the cost of the lease against your business income.

As you can see, there are many compelling reasons to consider leasing your next Toyota car, truck or SUV instead of buying it outright. From better tax treatment to the ability to trade up to the latest model without any hassles, there are plenty of reasons why leasing makes so much sense. If you think that leasing is right for you, just head down to Royal Palm Toyota to choose your next vehicle and get a great deal on a great lease.

Dare To Compare: A Head to Head Look at the Toyota Camry vs. Honda Accord

If you are in the market for a smart, stylish and fun to drive family car, chances are both the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord are on your short list. Both vehicles have a lot to offer and both boast excellent fuel economy, strong reliability and above average resale values. In the end, however, it is the Toyota Camry that comes out on top.

The Toyota Camry scores high marks in a number of important categories, from ride and handling to fuel economy and engine performance. Below is a head to head comparison of the two vehicles and a demonstration of why the Toyota Camry represents the better overall value.

The Toyota Camry has been one of the hottest selling and most popular vehicles on the road for many decades now. This midsize car has become a legend, carrying generations of families and creating a legion of fans along the way. While the Honda Accord is a worthy competitor, it just does not live up to the quality and style of its Toyota rival.

The Toyota Camry boasts a number of standard features that cost extra on many other vehicles, including the Honda Accord. The Toyota Camry, for instance, comes standard with an 8-way adjustable driver’s seat for extra comfort. On the other hand, the Honda Accord has simple leather trimmed seats that look good but offer little in the way of adjustment.

The Toyota Camry also features the innovative JBL GreenEdge sound system, the perfect choice for drivers who love their tunes. Camry buyers can also enjoy the full Entune app suite, with popular music apps like Slacker Radio, iHeart Radio and Pandora. The Toyota Camry even features a simplified wireless charging system, along with a non-slip surface for easy charging of your smartphone and other devices.

By comparison, the Honda Accord has less to offer. The Accord does offer a choice of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, but it does not come with the popular Entune app suite.

The technologically advanced features of the Toyota Camry do not end with the audio system and charging station. The Camry uses a voice activated voice recognition system that lets you control everything from the navigation to the entertainment center without taking your eyes off the road or your hands off the wheel. The Honda Accord, on the other hand, does not offer these hands-free features.

In the end, the Toyota Camry provides the better overall value for drivers from all walks of life. From its seamless integration with your smartphone to a better entertainment system to superior handling and safety technology, the Toyota Camry has a lot to offer modern drivers. The Honda Accord is a worthy competitor, but in the end it falls short compared to the technologically advanced and fun to drive Toyota Camry.

If you would like to conduct your own head to head comparison, just head down to Royal Palm Toyota for a test drive. We think you will agree that the Toyota offers the best overall value and a superior driving experience.

The Toyota RAV4 Proves to be the Most Fuel Efficient SUV Ever

There is a lot to love about sport utility vehicles, from their roominess to their practicality, but for the most part SUVs are not exactly known for their fuel efficiency. In fact, the SUV has gotten a bit of a reputation as a class of gas guzzlers.

The new Toyota RAV4 just may change that perception. Environmental activists will be changing their tune when they get their hands on the new Toyota RAV4, a smart and fun to drive compact SUV that has proven to be the most fuel efficient ever.

The new Toyota RAV4 is a smart, stylish and fuel efficient SUV that is already turning heads and changing minds around the country. If you have always longed for the roominess and power of an SUV but been reluctant to make the move, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid just may change the way you look at the SUV.

The fuel efficiency of the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is very impressive, especially compared to other sport utility vehicles in its class. The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has the best overall fuel economy of any SUV that does not plug in. The fact that the RAV4 Hybrid is so fuel efficient is just one more thing in its favor, and one more reason to put this sporty SUV on your short list.

The new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid gets an impressive 26 miles per gallon, even in stop and go city driving, making it one of the most fuel efficient in its class. In fact, that 26 mpg rating means that the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid gets just as good, or better, fuel mileage than some midsize sedans.

The Toyota RAV4 Hybrid does even better out on the open road. The RAV4 Hybrid manages an impressive 36 mpg on the highway, again putting it in the company of many midsize sedans. That fuel economy is even more impressive when you consider that the new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is much larger, roomier and more powerful than those midsize sedans.

The fuel economy of the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is also better than other sport utility vehicles, including many hybrids. The new RAV4 Hybrid beats the former mileage champions, the Lexus NX 300h and Lexus RX 450h, making it one of the most fuel efficient SUVs on the road today.

That fuel economy does not come at the expense of power or roominess; the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has plenty of both. With a standard 4-cylinder 2.5-liter 176-horsepower engine, the RAV4 has lots of pickup, and its 6-speed automatic transmission is smooth shifting and very responsive.

Simply put, the new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is proof that fuel efficiency and performance are not mutually exclusive. If you have always wanted the power and performance of an SUV but the fuel economy of a passenger car, now you can have both. The best deals on the RAV4 Hybrid are at Royal Palm Toyota, so head in for a test drive and see the most fuel efficient SUV for yourself.

The 2017 Toyota Prius Prime; Now This is a Beauty

When the first Prius hybrid rolled off the Toyota assembly line and into dealer showrooms, many drivers, and many in the automotive press, were somewhat skeptical. Writers in the highly influential automotive press wondered aloud if drivers would ever embrace the new hybrid technology, while drivers worried about things like power, style and long-term reliability.

As the 2017 model year gets underway, it is safe to say that those early fears have been put to rest. Hybrid technology is now a mature technology, and the fears so many people expressed have not come to fruition. Hybrids like the Toyota Prius have proven to be safe and reliable, with strong resale values and a stellar reputation for quality.

Many people think that the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime will be the best one ever, and drivers everywhere have been lining up to get a first glimpse and schedule a test drive of this great new hybrid vehicle.

The Toyota Prius Prime is designed to be a top of the line vehicle, with plenty of power, smart styling and luxurious touches that pamper the driver and provide extra comfort to their passengers. The 2017 Prius Prime is designed for the driver who loves the concept of an electric car but still needs the security of a backup motor and the extended range hybrid technology provides.

When it hits dealer showrooms and becomes available to buyers, the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime will incorporate a number of smart changes. These improvements on past versions of the hybrid include an extended range for all-electric operation, thanks to a more powerful 8.8-kwh battery. That 8.8-kwh battery is a major improvement over the previous 4.4-kwh version, and it is expected to give the 2017 Prius Prime a 22 mile all-electric range pending formal EPA certification.

That combination of extended all-electric range and better efficiency means that the 2017 Prius Prime is expected to top the charts in terms of hybrid performance. With a market topping 120 MPGe, the 2017 Prius Prime is expected to quickly become the industry leader.

Even when it is not operating in all-electric mode, the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime is designed for maximum efficiency. The 2017 version of the Prius Prime includes a state-of-the-art 1.8-liter Atkinson cycle engine that should allow the new vehicle to get at least 52 miles from every gallon of gas. That is exceptional fuel economy even for a hybrid, and it is sure to be a major selling point once the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime hits the market.

Perhaps most intriguingly, the 2017 Toyota Prius will also sport a newly designed exterior chassis, with sleeker lines, smarter styling and a more standard overall look. With its low slung body and new design the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime is expected to be more rigid, enhancing safety for the driver and passengers.

The 2017 Toyota Prius Prime is also expected to come with quad LED lights for safer driving after dark. But no matter when and where you drive, you will want to visit Royal Palm Toyota for a first look at the newly redesigned and better than ever 2017 Toyota Prius Prime.
