Once the calendar gets past Labor Day, September can sometimes be a dead zone for activities going on in any community. The kids are back in school, and anyone who is away at college has gone back already. So finding a family event or two to keep you and the gang busy isn’t always the easiest thing to do. However, West Palm Beach isn’t just any community, and we don’t do boring weekends no matter what month it is so don’t worry at all.
Flavor Palm Beach
For the entire month of September, more than 50 restaurants and bistros are offering sampler menus for lunch or dinner. You are invited to enjoy a three-course lunch for $20 and/or dinner for $30 or $35 per person. A few of the participating restaurants include: Seasons 52, Cafe Boulud, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Meat Market and Limonchello Italian Grill. Don’t miss your opportunity to try restaurants you’ve heard so much about!
World Series of Poker
Once again, the World Series of Poker makes its stop at the Palm Beach Kennel Club on September 17th and 18th. With the $365 buy-in monster stack along with $580, nightly second chance, and mega satellites, there’s more opportunity to stack the chips high. Play Omaha Eight, H.O.R.S.E, and Hold’em, with a second chance every night. Bring your best poker face, it’s time to play!
Brew 2 at the Zoo
Join us at the Palm Beach Zoo on September 26th for delicious brew sampling from at least 25 Florida craft beer breweries. Enjoy live music and food while you stroll around the Palm Beach Zoo, stopping at sampling stations spread throughout the festivities.
Enjoy a celebration of beer and good times at Oktoberfest, hosted by the American German Club of The Palm Beaches. The festival is held on October 16th until October 18th at Lake Worth, celebrating traditional German fare and music. Dine on authentic meals of bratwurst, schnitzel, and other German foods while sampling imported and domestic beers, schnapps, and wines.
