Toyotathon Is On!

Toyota is one of the most popular car brands in the world. Even more so, one of the most popular brands overall in the world. A large part of that popularity and success has been attributed to Toyota’s classic fuel efficient, simple cars. While Toyota still ranks exceptionally well in both fuel efficiency and safety, they are boosting their brand this time around with all new 2017 models rolling off the line.

Take a chance this holiday season to enjoy all that Toyota has to offer while experiencing the annual Toyotathon event beginning November 11th! Royal Palm Toyota is proud to announce the all new 2017 Toyota lineup lead by the Corolla, Camry, and RAV4. Take a look below at the three fantastic models and decide for yourself which one you think fits you best.

2017 Toyota Corolla: Cool and Classic

The Corolla has earned its place as a top compact sedan over the course of many great models and years. The 2017 Toyota Corolla is no different as this model comes with plenty of new features. An aggressive front grille, bright bi-LED headlights, and a 7-inch heads-up touchscreen display make this Corolla the best one yet.

The 2017 Toyota Corolla is the perfect car to gift your loved ones as it is both practical and sporty and that is just what they are looking for. Head over to Royal Palm Toyota today to take a look at all the 2017 Toyota Corolla has to offer.

2017 Toyota RAV4: Rough yet Practical

The 2017 Toyota RAV4 is one of Toyota’s proudest models to date. This compact crossover SUV comes fit with 6 trims, 2 of which that are the ever-growing hybrid version. Today, people want the ability to drive where ever they want and however they want but not at the cost of their life-savings. Luckily, with the RAV4 Hybrid, drivers no longer have to worry as they can expect up to 34 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway when behind the wheel of their all new RAV4 Hybrid.*

Starting at a modest $24,910*, the 2017 Toyota RAV4 is the perfect car for long road trips or short, on a whim, trips that so many people love to take. Head down to Royal Palm Toyota to take a test-drive.

2017 Toyota Camry: Calm and Collected

Around the world, you can expect to see multiple Toyota Camry‘s on the road. The reason is because they are one of the most popular midsize sedans in the automotive world today. The 2017 Toyota Camry plans to continue that legacy and bring in more curious drivers than ever before.

The 2017 Camry comes with 4 impressive looking trims, a lavish piano-black sport mesh front grille, and an intuitive rear-camera. The Camry also includes in all 4 of its trims the popular LATCH system that ensures you and your child’s safety at all times.

Make your way down to Royal Palm Toyota during this exciting holiday season and see what Toyotathon is all about.

The 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid Is a High Tech Wonder

Toyota is back with its latest version of the Camry Hybrid. The new 2017 model plays off the 2016 body style that made it quite the catch with drivers last year. Toyota has thrown in some fresh tech features and improved engineering that will make the Camry a top contender over the next 12 months.

The New Look

Although the 2017 body style mostly mirrors its predecessor, there are a few updates that drastically improve the look. The most noticeable tweak is the dynamic grille that gives the Camry a bold, aggressive edge and adds to its already natty design. Reshaped LED lights offer an added touch to the front and back while enhancing evening visibility and the overall look of the car.

The cabin has also seen some significant changes. Toyota has upped the ante with a more luxurious interior that may be their most impressive yet. It is also one of the most open interiors you’ll find in a mid-size sedan, offering plenty of space for both the head and the legs across the entire back seat. This is where the Camry outshines its competitors like the Ford Fusion Hybrid and the Mazda 6, which have more limited cabin space. Other fringe benefits include a modernized dash design and, of course, a peaceful, noise-insulated interior.

Cool New Gadgets

Car owners love toys, and Toyota delivers. They started by cutting the cord with Qi wireless phone charging. Any Qi-compatible device can be placed on the central panel and instantly charged up. The Entune® multi-functional display comes stacked with one-touch highlights that range from on-the-spot music services to weather updates and movie ticket purchases. Combined with a state-of-the-art JBL audio system, the Camry offers a delightful driving experience on the inside.

Hybrid Horsepower

The Camry is known for its ability to get up and go, and it’s no different with the hybrid. It boasts a 16-valve Atkinson-cycle 2.5-liter engine matched with a 141-horsepower electric motor for a combined power of 200 hp. That gives it just the kick it needs to go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds. The fuel engine suspends activity when power is no longer required and then reignites as needed. An on-board monitor keeps the driver informed of where the energy is distributed throughout the system while driving.

Safety Features

Toyota has received top props in recent years for its uncompromising safety. Earlier this year the 2017 Camry earned a five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as well as distinguished scores from leading consumer magazines, making it one of the safest sedans on the road.

Standard safety gear includes ten airbags, stability and traction control, antilock brakes, and a rearview camera. Additional features include a blind-spot monitor with cross-traffic alert. The add-ons are available with the XLE and XSE models. In case that isn’t enough, there is also a Lane Departure Alert that detects if the car is veering off the road and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) that eyeballs potential tailgating. Driving a Camry Hybrid has never been safer.

Extra Points for Available Trunk Features

Many hybrids suffer from a confined trunk due to engine placement. While the Camry may not compare to the Honda Accord or Hyundai Sonata in the overall trunk area, it’s well above average in rear storage. It also makes up for it with some useful cargo features that come in handy. The first is a folding rear setback that extends the trunk space considerably. The Camry Hybrid also has a small pass-through in the middle of the backseat for long, slender items without disrupting the rear passengers. Accord and Hyundai don’t offer these little extras.

Kelley Blue Book’s Best Resale List: the Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, and Tundra

Kelley Blue Book (KBB) is one of the most useful resources for today’s information-seeking driver. The company catalogs information on just about every make and model of automobile on the market today and organizes that information into categories that may appeal to drivers.

One such area of interest is the resale value of a vehicle. This plays a huge role in decision making when it comes time to buy or sell a car. Resale value can be thought of as how much a vehicle can be worth after a period of time. Usually and understandably, cars are worth more when they’re new. Classics and one-offs are a different story.

KBB provides a list of cars with the best resale value. Of the 10 cars that appear on the most recent list, Toyota takes three spots, making it one of only two auto manufacturers to appear more than once. What’s even better for Toyota is where its cars appear on the list. The company holds the number one spot, the number two spot, and the number six spot.

As far as an all-purpose vehicle that performs well, gives drivers what they need, and doesn’t depreciate while doing so, the Tundra” data-mce-href=”http://www.royalpalmtoyota.com/toyota-tacoma/?utm_source=ritzmarketing&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=Kelley%20Blue%20Book’s%20Best%20Resale%20List:%20the%20Toyota%20Tacoma,%204Runner,%20and%20Tundra“>Tacoma deservedly occupies the top spot on KBB’s list.

2016 Toyota 4Runner

The 4Runner faces tough competition from other auto manufacturers from time to time, but it managed to make the number two spot on KBB’s list of vehicles with the best resale value.

The SUV market is flooded with different takes on the class. The 4Runner does everything all of the other SUVs can do and then some, but it does so without hemorrhaging dollar signs behind it as it is driven down the road.

For its longevity, durability, and ability to tackle obstacles other SUVs can’t, the 4Runner belongs on KBB’s list.

2016 Toyota Tundra

Although the Tundra is a little lower on the list than the Tacoma and the 4Runner, it’s Toyota’s biggest, meanest, most powerful truck.

The Tundra can tow and haul a massive amount of weight, beating out domestic competitors by getting the job done without breaking the bank.

The Tundra will always sell well because it’s a strong, capable workhorse that shrugs off wear and tear.

2017 Toyota 86 Gives More Power to Drivers

The former Scion FR-S has been redubbed for the 2017 model year to maintain the same name as the Japanese market sports car. Scion, you may have heard, is no more and the former Scion FR-S is now, as of the 2017 model year, called the Toyota 86. To accompany its new alias, Toyota has implemented new features, both cosmetically and mechanically, within the 86 that cultivate a thrilling driving experience.

On the exterior, LED headlights and taillights have been installed within the front and rear end bumpers that have experienced their fair share of alterations. The reconstructed spoiler and canards improve the overall adhesion and evasiveness for thrilling agility on the road. Other exterior modifications include a new rear diffuser that augments airflow and minimizes turbulence caused by air exiting from underneath.

With a restyled drivetrain, the 2017 86 rolls off the assembly line additional power and torque. The 86 is equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower at 7000 rpm and provides 151-lb.-ft of torque between 6400 and 6600 rpm. It is sure to be our purest sports car yet with its thrilling driving experience. It has an estimated fuel mileage of *24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway which means you can stay on the highway instead of the gas station. To stay true to the theme of the FR-S, the 2017 86 maintains the nimble coupe’s innate physique. The optional six-speed manual also enables an even more entertaining, hands-on ride for the drivers who prefer to do the gear grabbing themselves.

The interior reflects the sporty styling of the exterior. The all-new Granlux trim accents adorn door panels and the dashboard. Throughout the inside, the silver “86” logos are fastened to the center of the steering wheel and above the passenger-side glove box.

The steering wheel is leather-wrapped for comfort and improved grip for tackling corners with ease. Audio controls are implemented within the wheel, making accessibility more convenient. The standard 60/40 split for the rear seats allows for two more passengers in the back seat, and the foldable rear seating creates ample room for cargo.

The 2017 Toyota 86 is a track-proven street-ready beast that serves as an exciting new take on the legendary FR-S. The 86 has been greatly anticipated by enthusiasts and drivers all throughout the U.S, and it’s sure to be our purest sports car yet.
