Daytona Blues Festival: October 7 – 9, Jackie Robinson Ballpark, Daytona Beach

Join thousands in a zesty outdoor celebration with some of the hottest blues, funk, and jazz acts around. Enjoy performers like Sugar Ray, Rayford, and Carolyn Wonderland. Tickets start at only $30, and proceeds support local charities.

Oktoberfest Miami: October 14 – 16 and 21 – 23, German American Social Club, Miami

Going all the way back to 1949, this is Florida’s longest-running Oktoberfest celebration. Experience the best in authentic German dancing, food, and beer. There are fun bouncy houses for the kids as well! Adult admission is $10; for kids 6 to 20, it’s only $5.

Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival: October 21 – 23, Northwest Florida State College, Niceville

Yes, this is about as country as it gets: Enjoy plenty of mullet fish prepared in the most interesting ways while hearing performers like Chase Bryant, Joe Diffie, Confederate Railroad, and Justin Moore. Tickets start at only $10. Ages 11 and under are free.

Great American Cooter Festival: October 28 – 30, Inverness

The now world-famous Cooter Festival celebrates the annual return of sea turtles (cooters), and what a grand celebration it is! Come for bands, rides, music, and a BBQ cookoff. This year, a zombie run joins the list of festivities! Sounds like the ultimate in fun, and best of all, you get to say you attended the Cooter Festival.

Native Rhythms Festival: November 10 – 13, Wickham Park, Melbourne

Join this terrific celebration of the native music of Florida and beyond. This great venue will host not only performances, but also workshops, drumming circles, and activities for the kids.
